Terms & Conditions for SGWAS – Weather Alert System

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the SG-Weather Alert System (SGWAS) provided by KNF Enterprises. By installing or using SGWAS hardware, software, or mobile applications, you agree to the following:

1. Service Overview

SGWAS is designed to provide real-time alerts on weather conditions—including lightning activity, heavy rainfall, and other potentially hazardous events—using data from trusted third-party sources and government agencies.

2. Source of Data

KNF Enterprises utilizes weather data primarily sourced from the National Environment Agency (NEA) of Singapore, or other recognized third-party providers. This data may include:

• Lightning strike updates

• Rainfall intensity and weather warnings

• General meteorological forecasts

KNF does not create or modify this data but relays it via hardware and mobile applications.

3. Use of Information

The data and alerts provided through SGWAS are intended to aid in operational awareness and risk management. They should be used as supplementary tools and not as the sole basis for safety-related decisions, evacuation procedures, or emergency actions.

Users are responsible for incorporating SGWAS into broader safety protocols, including regulatory compliance and internal site safety planning.

4. Accuracy & Limitations

While we strive to provide timely and accurate alerts, KNF Enterprises makes no guarantees regarding the completeness, accuracy, or real-time availability of weather data or system alerts. Factors such as:

• Delays from data sources

• Signal interference or device connectivity

• Hardware/software malfunctions may affect performance.

KNF shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from reliance on SGWAS alerts or perceived system performance.

5. System Maintenance & Updates

SGWAS hardware and applications may be subject to routine maintenance, firmware updates, or system enhancements. KNF will endeavor to provide reasonable notice of planned outages but is not liable for unplanned service interruptions due to technical failures or external factors.

6. User Responsibilities

• Ensure proper placement, power supply, and maintenance of the device(s).

• Monitor app updates and configure alert settings as required.

• Notify KNF of technical faults or support needs in a timely manner.

7. Privacy & Data Collection

SGWAS may collect non-personal usage data (e.g., device logs, alert triggers, sensor performance) for system analytics and improvement purposes. We do not collect any personal or location-identifiable data without user consent.

8. Warranty & Support

KNF provides standard warranty and post-installation support as outlined in the individual service agreement or quotation. Extended warranties or maintenance contracts are available upon request.

9. Modifications to Terms

KNF reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Updated terms will be published on our website and/or communicated through our client channels.

10. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Singapore. Any disputes shall be resolved under Singaporean jurisdiction.
